It's a lie!!!! Look at the forum's total post statistics in relation to it's users, and it doesn't add up. Chad is a cheater.

Oh, it makes total sense! Did you ever stop to think maybe we did some cleaning up of the forums way back when everyone else was inactive? It would delete total posts but not post count

Actually I did know that, and normally when you delete posts, it reduces your post count. BUT, Chad exploited a glitch in the forum that let him keep those post counts, therefore making him a cheater. So no, you sir, Fail with a capital F.

in halo 2, superjumps were an oversight by halo, and people commonly refered to them as glitches in the game. furthermore, bungie removed those glitches because using them was CHEATING.

It was a problem in the game engine that bungie didn't even make themselves. They didn't remove them because you can't change the game engine once they already shipped the game out. Whether it was cheating was debatable since everyone could do them, the worst anyone got was maybe a 1 or 2 day ban. A glitch is the result of faulty game coding, not part of the engine itself

I did, but we arent talking about superjumps. it was an analogy to explain that it was a glitch. I dont care whether its in the engine or in the coding.

Jak, you are very very wrong. If I were to delete all posts right now, we would ALL have the same amount of post count we have at this moment. It works the same way as a hit counter and made it so that all the hits were saved so we could see how many we had. If we have 100 visits to the site and then we deleted the site we would still have 100 hits. IT wouldn't reset to Zero.

AND NO I WILL NOT DELETE POSTS JUST SO I CAN PROVE THIS TO YOU.

Well I thin deleting a Topic and deleting a Forum works differently, but I may have reset your posts after that....good point though.

argh!!!! we've been over this! it keeps your posts if you delete an entire forum. and no, you didn't, because it did it itself.

Most forum's run on the same source code, if you've scene it once, you've scene it all. The "post-counter" run's on a different operation that the forum. It's not real time. If a video get's 50'000 views, will that mean that all 50'000 people are watching it at once? No, because its a counter,much like the poster. On most forum's topic's are not meant to be deleted, but either locked, or archived on a computer. Forummotion obviously dose not have an active (and/or efficient) system in place for dealing with deleated posts.
